The layflat hose is flat when empty and takes a cylindrical shape with flow. That simple feature makes it irreplaceable on sites where space and weight matter.

Key advantages

  • Compact: rolls into a small, light coil.
  • High flow: available up to 12" diameter.
  • Fast deployment: laid out and picked up in minutes.
  • Economical: lower cost per meter than rigid hoses.

Typical applications in Panama

In construction, for dewatering excavations and diverting water during the rainy season. In mining and quarries, for process water handling and drainage. Also in mobile irrigation, temporary fire systems and pump discharge.

Usage recommendations

Layflat is for discharge, not suction (it collapses under vacuum). Avoid dragging it over highly abrasive surfaces and respect the working pressure per diameter. Use proper couplings —Camlock works very well— and firm clamps.

At YRVIMAR we carry layflat in 50 and 100 m rolls with the fittings you need. Tell us your flow rate and we'll build the complete line.
